A 36-year-old Traralgon man was charged with possession of a drug of dependence on Wednesday night after a warrant was issued at a property on Loch Park Road, Traralgon.

At 9am, local police executed a drug poison and controlled substance warrant and saw potential drugs and potential volatile substances at the property.

The Victoria Police Clandestine Laboratory Squad and chemists from the CBI/DVI unit arrived at the property from Melbourne just after 2pm and were seen leaving with drug paraphernalia.

At about 2.40pm, a man was approached by police seen walking past the Loch Park Road address without a face covering.

He was apprehended for not complying with mandatory mask requirements and was then charged with possession of an illicit substance.
