Drouin has been crowned the 2016 No Boundaries cricket champion after defeating the Sale Spinners in the grand final held on Sunday, 18 December.

There was plenty of bit hitting, wickets and great fielding on display, but eventually Drouin emerged the victor at Traralgon Sports Stadium.

No Boundaries Cricket is a modified version of indoor cricket for people of all abilities.

Sides have eight players on the field and batters and bowlers are graded down the order to ensure players of similar ability face each other.

Everyone plays in every position, bats for two overs each, and bowls.

The local all-abilities competition is comprised of two Sale teams and sides from Traralgon, Drouin and Bairnsdale.

This year more than 40 players participated in the league.

Players from No Boundaries cricket will unite on Sunday, 19 February for the all abilities state cricket carnival at Casey Fields in Cranbourne.
