Prep students from Morwell Park Primary School yesterday brought their teddy bears to school and spent the morning at 'hospital' with Monash medical students.
In an effort to familiarise preps with doctors and the hospital environment, medical students led them through activities that mimicked a medical visit.
Plastering, the GP, immunisation, XRAYs, healthy eating, dental, asthma and surgery were among the activities.
"They were over the moon," third year medical student and Gippsland MUMUS Teddy Bear Hospital coordinator Louay Baroun-Agob said.
"They really enjoyed it and they really had a lot of fun getting into the activities."
