TRAFALGAR scored its highest total for the season when they amassed 31.11 against Boolarra.
The Demons on the other hand could only manage one goal for the match, which was scored in the first quarter.
The Bloods set their early target in the first term with 7.6 and during the next three terms scored eight, 10 and six goals.
Boolarra had no answer to the way Trafalgar played.
The Bloods shared their goals around with 14 goal kickers, the best being Scott Mason, Matthew Swenson and Klay Butler with four each.
Best were Mason, Chris Kyriacou, Blake Slater and Andrew Gringhuis while for Boolarra Geoff Taylor, Vin Corbett, James Holmes and Michael Cleaver were its best.
Morwell East vs Mirboo North
WITH two of its high profile players out Morwell East were expecting Mirboo North to come out blazing.
However the Tigers were in a worse position than the Hawks, with four players missing including coach Troy Hamilton.
It was an even first term with Morwell East getting a slight four point advantage at the break.
Morwell East got the advantage in the second term with Dave Walker providing the forward strength with some telling goals.
Rowan Pepper was busy but it was defender Rob Shelton who had the task of keeping the defence tight and limiting Mirboo North's scoring abilities.
Richard TePaa and Phil Pavey were back from injury and were also solid workers for the East as they got away from their opponents.
By half time Morwell East had doubled the Tigers' score.
Mirboo North couldn't get close to Morwell East and there was always two or three goals between them.
By the third quarter Morwell East were well in front and eventually ran out 34 point winners.
Dave Walker was back in form using his bulk and goal scoring skills to finish with five and Rohan Pepper chipped in with three.
Shelton, Eddie Lithgow, Luke Hopman, TePaa and Luke Pavey were voted as best.
Mirboo North were disappointed in its match performance and were expected to push much closer to Morwell East.
The Tigers' best were Don Webb, Josh Taylor, Damien Turner and Jacob Nash.
Yinnar vs Yallourn-Yallourn North
SEVEN brilliant first term goals set up Yinnar's win over Yallourn-Yallourn North (YYN).
With Brayden Wilson in form the Magpies' form established a good lead which YYN couldn't bridge.
Coach Guy Cheffers led his team by example as the Magpies were strong all over the ground.
Back from injury Tim Phillips was a shining light for YYN with important goals early in the match, especially up to half time.
The Bombers held Yinnar to one goal in the second term but only outscored them by one point.
A four goal third quarter set up Yinnar for a comfortable win but YYN were not out of the game yet.
The Bombers showed they still had some fight left with a four goal last quarter but the damage had already been done.
Yinnar missed Brendan Holt at full forward but Dale Murphy and Wilson scored four each.
The Magpies' best were Daniel Webster, Dale Murphy, Spike Milligan and Josh Pilgrim while for YYN Tim Phillips scored four with Darcy Shellcot three.
Todd Dobson, Barrie Burnett, Tom Hutton and Daniel Potts were good players for the Bombers.
Yarragon vs Thorpdale
AFTER its turmoil the previous week Yarragon bounced back with an impressive 17 point win over Thorpdale.
The Panthers included newcomer - and son of coach Lloyd - Shane Burgmann who scored five goals and Phil Solohub returned after a week off.
After an even start Yarragon moved up a gear in the second quarter and scored 7.3 to 3.1 to establish a quality lead by the half way mark.
Thorpdale came alive in the last term with an attacking game plan and limited Yarragon to five behinds while adding 4.3 to get within 17 points at the finish.
Yarragon were sitting in fourth position and should make the finals.
Other than Burgmann, James Harvey, Nick Murray and Kevin Grima all performed well.
For Thorpdale Daniel Martin, Michael Chapman, Daniel Grima and Damien Smith were best.
Brad Mackie top scored with four and Daniel Martin chipped in with three.
Newborough vs Hill End
NEWBOROUGH carried off the Byrne/Fanning trophy with a 47 point win over Hill End.
It was a reversal of form for the Bulldogs who hadn't won since 16 May.
Hill End were expected to push Newborough but the result was better than expected by the Doggies.
After an even first half Newborough were two points ahead and it looked like being another nail biter.
After getting a spray from coach Darryl Disisto at half time, Newborough came out a different side in the third.
They put the pressure on Hill End who couldn't buy a goal and only managed five behinds.
The writing was on the wall in the last term as Newborough scored a further five goals to put the result beyond doubt.
Adrian Gruendler scored six majors for the Dogs.
For Hill End, its dream of a three-peat went south.
